RoofReach
+44 7782 241648 Get set up

The customer you missed is already ringing another roofer.

You're on a roof, in the van, or holding a nail gun. The phone rings out. That caller doesn't leave a voicemail and doesn't ring twice — they go down the list. RoofReach texts them back within seconds, in your name, so the job stays yours.

Keep your own number. Nothing to install. Running the same day you say yes.

Hi, it's Dave at Dave's Roofing. Sorry I missed your call, I'm up on a job. What do you need doing and roughly where are you?
No worries. Ridge tiles coming loose, semi in Bolton. Can you look this week?
Yes. I can be over Thursday morning to price it up. Does 9am suit?
A real missed call, handled without you touching the phone.
62 of 106 roofers I rang this month never picked up

That's not a marketing stat I bought off a slide deck. I rang 106 UK roofing firms myself and kept the tally. Sixty-two rang out.

Every one of those was a stranger with money in his hand, and none of us left a voicemail. That's the whole business in one number — and it's the same number happening to you every week, only you never see it.

How it works

Three steps, done once, then it runs on its own.

One

You set call forwarding

A short code on your handset sends unanswered calls to your RoofReach number. Your mobile number stays exactly the same and stays on all your signage, vans and listings.

Two

We catch the miss

The moment a call goes unanswered, a text goes out to that caller in your voice, with your business name. Seconds, not hours. If you answer the call, nothing is sent.

Three

You get a live lead

They reply with the job and the postcode. It lands in your phone as a normal text conversation you can pick up whenever you're down off the roof.

What you're actually buying

Two things from day one, and a third once we've worked together a while and I know how you run jobs.

Missed-call text back

The core of it. Any call you can't take gets an instant, human-sounding text so the caller has a reason to wait for you instead of dialling the next roofer.

  • Sent within seconds of the missed call
  • Written in your words, signed with your business name
  • Replies come back as a normal text thread on your phone
  • Nothing is sent when you pick up

Lead chasing

Most roofing work isn't lost at the call, it's lost after the quote. People go quiet, get busy, forget. I follow them up so you don't have to remember who owes you an answer.

  • Polite follow-ups on quotes that have gone silent
  • Old enquiries that never converted, worked again
  • You get told when someone comes back to life
  • Stops the moment they say no — no pestering your customers
From roughly month two

AI front desk instead of voicemail

Once the text back is bedded in and I understand your pricing, your patch and the jobs you do and don't take, we can replace voicemail with a front desk that actually answers. It picks up the calls you can't, asks what the job is and where, and hands you a written summary — so the ones worth your time are obvious. This is the second stage of the partnership, not something I'll pretend is live on day one.

Straight about what this is

What it does

  • Keeps callers warm for the ten minutes you can't reach the phone
  • Turns a rung-out call into a written enquiry with a postcode
  • Follows up quotes that have gone quiet
  • Runs in the background while you work

What it doesn't do

  • It doesn't invent demand — it recovers calls you already get
  • It doesn't quote, price or promise anything on your behalf
  • It doesn't change your number or touch your existing line
  • It won't fix a phone that never rings in the first place

Pricing

£150

for the first month, everything set up and running.

  • After that: 5% of the value of jobs you land through it
  • No setup fee, no contract, no minimum term
  • You keep your number and your customers either way

I take a percentage after the first month because it keeps us on the same side. If the texts aren't turning into work you can walk, and if they are, we both do well out of it.

One roof recovered usually covers the year. If a month goes by with nothing landed, you've paid me nothing for it.

Send an enquiry and I'll tell you plainly whether it's worth it for the volume of calls you get.

Questions roofers actually ask

Do I have to change my phone number?

No. You keep your mobile number on your van, your website and every listing you're on. All you do is switch on call forwarding for unanswered calls, which is a short code typed into your handset. Takes a minute and can be turned off the same way.

What if I answer the call myself?

Then nothing happens. The text only fires when a call goes unanswered or engaged. Your customers never get a text you didn't need sent.

Will it sound like a robot wrote it?

The first message is written with you before anything goes live, in the way you'd actually say it. Short, plain, no sales patter. After that it's just you texting the customer back like normal.

How long until it's running?

Usually the same day. It's a call divert and a message we agree between us — there's no software to install, no app, and nothing to learn.

Am I tied in?

No contract and no minimum term. Turn the divert off and you're back to exactly how you were, with your number and your customer list untouched.

What about the AI front desk?

That comes later, around a month in, once the basics are working and I know your jobs well enough to let it speak for you. I'd rather get the text back earning first than sell you something clever that doesn't fit how you work.

Tell me about your calls

Roughly how many you miss in a week and what sort of jobs you take. I'll come back with a straight answer on whether this is worth your money.

Goes straight to Alex. No list, no newsletter, no passing your details on.
